First hired as an editor at Image Bank in 1992, Karen went onto senior art direct at Getty Images and then Head of Creative at Photonica. Currently Karen is a partner at Spark Visual Research, a creative consulting company dedicated to reporting visual marketplace trends to image producers. With an intimate understanding of the stock photography landscape and a clear vision of how to create a commercial image, Karen's role at Spark is creative guidance to both the photographer and the stock agency.
